Some historical gems . .
Some new photographs which come care of a friend when he visited a museum in Buenos Aires. I hope no one minds me publishing them - they are a great record of the lengths that english manufacturers and their local agents went to to get the product delivered.
The next is a local scene showing a single cylinder SLA in action.
Ray Hooley has provided me with a huge amount of information over the years we have owned the engine and has allowed me to reproduce the following photographs from his extensive collection here.

A copy from an original Ruston catalogue shows the SLA, the single cylinder version, stunning in the red and green colour scheme.

Two catalogue pages showing single and compound versions. Note that the single had 'narrow' rear wheels !

This is probably a SCP, built for the Polish market. It has rectangular rear 'tender' .

Personally my favorite. . . . what a magnificant machine. One can sit and study this for ages and still miss functionality !

Apologies for the quality of the reproduction but worth seeing due to the scale of the plough across the Pampas.
The next few are an example of a spares parts catalogue supplied in Spanish and English for the SLA.

Sorry the print is so small but it will give you a flavor of what support the manufacturer and the agent went to for the local customer.
